You will have to begin by learning HTML/CSS. You can start here:

HTML isn't as difficult as it seems. If it seems too hard for you, you can try places like Pimp My Myspace, though those are very limited. If you want something like a div overlay layout, you will need to learn HTML and CSS.

usually you link to the items you will use to form your layout in the code you type in. it would be alot easier to use a layout from a website already made.if you閳ユ獧e first starting out, i recommend a layout generator, like killerkiwi.

Otherwise it is basicly learning to code in HTML.
